Healthy coffee
I bet you all know people who have all sort of vices: too much alcohol, cigarettes, shopping, spending money, food, drugs or drinking too much coffee. A vice implies the fact that you use too much of something and you simply can’t help it. Although some vices seem and probably are more dangerous than others, they are still vices and underline a certain weakness that we have got. Maybe some would say that drinking too much coffee is nothing as compared to others, but I am sure our body doesn’t agree. More than 10% of the coffee drinkers have experienced uncomfortable side effects, such as heartburn or even an upset stomach, even from the decaffeinated coffee.
Lately, people are interested more and more into having a healthy life, so coffee producers came up with some bright ideas: the healthy coffee, combined with wellness and energy drinks. There are many people who would love to drink a good coffee, but cant due it since it irritates their stomach, and so prefer tea instead. But it is no longer the case to feel frustrated if you feel the lovely, inviting coffee scent.
One type of healthy coffee is the Energy Black one, based on Reishi and Ginseng aroma, which gives a great taste. Another type would be based on the same ingredients, but with non- diary creamer and natural cane sugar included.
Since coffee is the second mostly consumed beverage in the world after water, we should be really careful to keep it as natural as it can be and healthy. Without additives, coffee has close to zero calories, so if you want a healthy coffee, and I don’t refer to a specific brand in here, you can choose an espresso, with no sugar. You should know that you are adding calories to your coffee by adding milk, sugar (be it raw, flavored syrup, or refined), or creamer (flavored or not). All these items make a huge difference when it comes to the quality and the level of health of your coffee. For example, a simple cappuccino has about 140 calories; a caffe latte has more than 220 calories, whilst a vanilla frappucino with whip cream has almost 500 calories. I know this is the last thing you think about when you order such a delicacy at the bar or when you have your breakfast with your girlfriends, but if you want to keep it healthy when it comes to coffee, you have to keep it simple, very simple, without any explosive combinations.
Due to this growing need of people to keep it simple and be healthy, more and more companies and producers have come up with different coffee types that, they say, are healthy and don’t put our health in danger. Some have come up with organic coffee, that boosts stamina, oxygenates the body, builds the immune system and contain natural antioxidants that fight free radicals.
